Kappa Star Group’s environmental activities span
the work of two key companies that contribute to the
development of the circular economy: Kappa Star Recycling,
focused on collecting, processing, and directing significant volumes
of waste to recycling at a regional level, and Ekostar Pak, which helps
businesses comply with regulations on responsible packaging-waste
management and increases the overall recycling rate in Serbia.
Our companies
Founded in 2010, Kappa Star Recycling is
one of the region’s leading collection operators,
processing over 300,000 tons of packaging and
industrial waste annually. With 20 collection centers
and a growing logistics network, the company is a core
enabler of sustainable production within the Group and beyond.
Ekostar Pak was founded in 2010 to operate under
the Extended Producer Responsibility model, focused
on building Serbia’s packaging waste management system.
It functions in a non-profit manner by reinvesting funds into
collection, infrastructure, education and the achievement of national
recycling targets. It provides services to more than 850 clients, supporting
them in meeting their legal obligations.
